We bought this car a few years ago for my wife but she now has a 2006 Beetle and I have a 1974 THING. This Cabriolet needs some work mostly cosmetic. We have by passed the neutral saftey switch. Since we have owned the car we have put a ton of money into it. Replaced Engine, Rebuilt Transmission, Brakes all the way around, Tires, Struts, Tune Up, water pump, Fuel Pump, Various Sensors, muffler, rebuilt instrument panel etc. Car has about 80,000 miles on it. The top is a bit dirty because we live in the country but no rips nor tears in it. The seats are typical for the year which means they are bad. We have seat covers on them. The the radio is out of it but the bezel is in good shape and I have a spare one as well. There is a small dent on the drivers side panel and the rear bumper. This would be a nice project to get her back again. My wife and I dont have the time or money for it. But we did do all the hard parts. Price is negotiable BUT THE CAR IS AS IS WHERE IT IS.
