JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS!!! Up for bid is a very nice '65 Galaxie 500 XL Convertible. 289 2bb, V-8 rebuilt approximately 2 1/2 years ago, no smoke or knocks. Equipped with C-6 auto trans recently serviced with new speedo shaft seal and no clutch or metal shavings in bottom of the pan. Shifts smooth just as it should. Frame and floor pans are fine. Car is very responsive and cruises at 70 very easily. This car has been gone through from front to back, new items are: Front floor mats, stabilizer link kits, lower radiator hose, new rear shoes, wheel cylinders and hardware. Right side inner and outer wheel bearings, left side cleaned, inspected and new grease seals. New back up light and wiper switches, AM-FM CD player (still in box), trunk weather strip (still in package), new convertible motor and both lift pumps,. All repair orders are included. Options: V-8, Auto Trans, P/S, Dual outside rear view mirrors, white wall tires, WIRE WHEELS, AM Radio, CD Player, Front seat belts and floor mats. Super nice driver but not a show car. You'd be hard pressed to find a car this nice under 10 Grand! Selling due to loss of storage. Fly in, drive home before bad weather hits. Certified check, cash or bank wire.
