This is my 1968 Impala SS Convertible Ive owned for 2 years. It had a Frame off restoration approx 7 years ago before i purchased it. it has under 15,000 miles, a Period correct 396 ci engine #T0225CTW that is rated @ 350hpits from a 1970 Chevelle or Camaro. its slightly modified and runs very strong w/a Edelbrock hi-rise performer intake, Holley 750 dp carb, ceramic coated headers into glass-pacs through duel exhaust out the rear. close to 400 hp.A 350 TH auto transmission with a fresh rebuild, shift kit and 12 bolt possi-trak rear end with a 3.08 ratio.Stock bucket seats, tilt wheel, console shifter, 5,000 redline tach, transmission cooler, 7 qt oil pan, am/fm 8 track Its extremely clean inside and out, especially the undercarriage as seen in the photos and has always been lightly driven and always garaged. I have the original owners manual and power top manual. It has clone 427 Badging on the front fenders ( how it was when purchased) all stainless and chrome are in excellent condition no rust. the hood is a 2 inch functional cowl on it, 2 " stress crack where vent meets the cowl .couple of paint chips nothing serious. The black power top is in great shape and works with no problems, i added front disc brakes summer of 2012, and still has original rear drums, original front drums included with sale,back seat window glass is etched with "SS IMPALA" on each side, was like that when car was purchased. This is truly a stunning classic that is a real crowd pleaser at the various car shows I've taken it too, surely draws attention wherever it goes has a clear Pa title and I am the 4th owner..
