1974 Super Beetle for sale. No reserve auction This car is a super beetle with stock drivetrain, standard tranny and overall very solid body!! The car is complete, the motor is stuck from sitting but was told it ran great and the spark plugs are nice with no oil or fouling conditions. A new exhaust and look at the floors and heat channels! The glass is all nice. Tires are good, Interior is original with normal wear on left seat but pass. and rear seats very good shape. Car rolls and i jacked it up and found no rust in floors, a small spot 2 inches round at battery tray, thats it. Doors open and close fine. Never had battery installed, so do not know what works or not, but it is all here. Motor is complete, only missing air cleaner, the cv axles are good , no rust in rear wheels or pans. Has stock fuel tank and no dents or body damage, small rust spot on top of left running board, only surface rust in small areas, The front end appears to be in very good condition, and all drums, lines,good. Jacked up front end and it is tight. I have all Conn. state paperwork, non-title vehicle. The e- brakes work and the heater control levers are free and operating also. Talked to previous owner when i purchased the car and said it ran fine , very strong engine, the alternator was replaced,the exhaust and brake shoes. So believe that filling cylinders with marvel mystery oil and letting sit for week should free motor i was told.
