Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a white 1992 Dodge Stealth RT/TT. It was purchased as a project and I haven't had the time to do everything that is needed to be done. I would like to sell this vehicle and will be as honest as possible (something that wasn't done for me when I bought it). The paint is in rough shape on the hood and drivers side. It is faded from being out in the sun and claybar/polish isn't enough to bring it back to life. Also there is 2 small/medium dents on drivers side. There is no rust that I can find anywhere so that is a major plus with a car this old. The interior is in pretty good shape. No funky odors and no major rips in the leather. The drivers door panel has bubbling going on. And the passenger side floor mat is kind of worn. Windows, door locks, power antenna, power seats, rear wiper work. The speakers seem old/blown, but the cd player works. Now its time for the bad. I was told that second gear grinds sometimes, well it is more like 95% of the time. Unfortunately this is common on these cars as anyone with knowledge of the platform would know. You can downshift into 2nd but when you shift into it from first it grinds, I have noticed that there is some red fluid leaking from the car. The rotors need to be replaced, car is driveable, but shakes over 70mph and when braking hard. Plenty of life left on the tires. The engine was completely rebuilt and a new clutch and flywheel was done at 98k miles at a cost of $7188.50 to the previous owner. The car starts up and sounds better than my 94 VR4 ever did. There is little to no lifter tick which is very common for these cars. There is some white smoke coming from the exhaust. It is 98% stock with the only known mod being an air intake that was put on in the last year by the previous owner. This leads me to believe the car was never raced or molested. This car could be a great winter project for someone, unfortunately that person is not me. I had big plans for the car, but seeing how the only thing I got to do in 6 months of owning it was fix the power steering tells me I am not the person for the job. The very last thing of note is the title has an actual mileage listed 4000 MORE than the car actually has. Title says 138k the car has 134k. The previous owner said he wrote the wrong number on the title. It was such a small mileage amount that I figured I would catch up to the difference in a short amount of time. But then I didn't fix up the car to drive it so now I am selling it with this discrepancy. The car is old enough where it isn't even an issue at this point. Also I have no reason to believe it was rolled back. The history makes sense and the VIN matches the title in all locations. I really love the 3S platform and hope this car can bring the same joy to someone else as my VR-4 did to me. Happy Bidding and I will try to answer any questions via email quickly. Thanks, Brian
