Vehicle Detail
1972 El Camino Custom 350 4V/TH350 Automatic Transmission 64K miles 12 Bolt Rear End Rally Wheels Factory Hood Pins Air Conditioning Car – Compressor and Bracket behind seat. The remaining air conditioning parts are under the hood still attached. Brand New Aluminum Radiator last week!! (original comes with car) Tires still have painted letters in tread area New Brakes done in June New Ball Joints All done in August (Only needed one but did them all). New stabizer bushings (front) Has only had one repaint and was 98% rust free showing only minor rust on body. No cracks in dash pad Carpet is good No Rips in Headliner Dealer installed trailer hitch Newer Dual Exhaust about a year old No frame rot ever This was an exceptional car being from Southern Indiana I bought this 3rd generation El Camino in about May to use as a regular driver. I need a pick Up at work for many small items walking wheel, bags of grass seed etc. but have a very bad back and needed something smoother to ride in. This was the perfect answer! The great MPG was a bonus! Don't want to sell but have the opportunity to buy a Superbird and aside from my love for the El Camino's I am a Mopar Man. As I was preparing this car for my self I, did extra when setting her up for daily use after nearly 20 years in storage. ie: installed all four ball joints when there was only one showing slight wear. I would take this car across the United States today and not worry about a mechanical issue. You can fly in Milwaukee's Mitchell field and drive it home. Please call with any questions before bidding to 262-770-8891 between 8 am and 8 pm central time. What improvements are left to be made are: * Seat Cover *Door panels *Idle sticks on high until warmed up *Right side plastic inner wheel cover has small hole cut out apparently to change heater blower fan by previous owner. *Dash pad apears to be missing one nut on drivers side allowing a gap in corner over speedometer. I’m told I was the 3rd owner, previous owner only owned it for one year. I am a Mopar guy (That loves El Camino's) and have an opportunity to buy a Superbird, I need to Liquidate to get all the cash I can for a down payment.
