I have this BRAT listed for sale locally, so if you care to make an offer, feel free to do so. The Subaru BRAT (an acronym for Bi-drive Recreational All-terrain Transporter) Very cool and RARE early subaru BRAT. This comes with the Original CALIFORNIA Blue and yellow license plates that its had all its life. Its got its original 1.6L motor and a 4 speed manual transmission with 4x4. The 4x4 system works well. Interior is really clean. original carpet still in great shape. Headliner and door panels as well. EVEN HAS ORIGINAL RADIO. Also has the optional A/C unit, but I believe the condensor is missing. Body is pretty clean without the typical rust. (Look at shock towers in motor pictures) Boths doors shut sound and tight and the windows both funtion as should. Tailgate functions well and the inside bed is pretty clean.Only the rear bumper is not original. and the tail light lens is broken. Has the jump seats with the seatbelts in the bed. Nice little cruiser. She runs and drives well. This Brat has been in a barn and driven on PRIVATE PROPERTY in a gated community for the last 15 years and has been on a non-op status with the DMV for all this time. It was driven weekly to get mail, go to the local store, or just for a cruise to the lake. Please due your due dilegence and ask questions before bidding.
