Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a very nice CT70 Gold trail bike! This ct70 was made in 1969, first year Honda ever made CT70s, the K0 year, the rare... once-in-a-while-you-see-for-sale!! Rare???! yeah sort of, you don't see much of these for sale! I personally like the gold color. Please inspect the pictures thoroughly for details. Cosmetically, the paint is in realllllly nice condition still! It shines well, some scuffs but still the original shiny paint from 1969. The seat has a 1.5 inch white line (see pic) that seems to be a minor scratch on leather, it's not torn or rip. It's still in great shape, nice, soft and original seat. There's some very light pitting on chromes... front and back fenders, headlight rim, handle bars and etc. Very light surface rust, nothing major... just needs good cleaning. The headlight bucket is cracked on one side due to over tightening the bolt (i think), I got it that way. All gold paint on body are in the same condition/tone, NOT lighter or darker paint, ALL EVENLY laid GOLD TONE/PAINT... so I know this bike's part has never been apart or any parts has never been replaced. The chromes also seem to be all in the same condition, evenly lightly pitted. I believe it's all original! Mechanically, the engine's top end has been rebuilt less than 100 miles ago or 3 years ago, 3spd auto-clutch transmission shift smooth. Bike has been driven in the street and off road, street and off-road licensed! Currently registered under my name, California CLEAR title. Last registered in 1984. I bought it from the original owner's son from Oxnard, CA. This bike still has the registration back in 1984 under the seat and had the Blue Plate with '84 sticker on it. Unfortunately, I couldn't registered it under the original blue license plate. But blue plates and '84 registration paper are present. I've been running this bike without the air box. The carburetor has a screen, I got it that way, I do have the air box. I rode this trail bike and I enjoyed it... then I became a parent. So it's up for sale! I tried to hold on to it... I sold 6 of my bikes already, now down to 4. I had a 3 car garage and a big backyard but I moved in an apartment so I no longer have the room/space for all toys. And financial adjustment forces the sale, this CT70 is next in line and i hope I don't have to go further than this and keep my last 3 bikes!!! It sat for some months and the battery drained/died. I bought a brand new battery and it started right up! Thee perfect bike for easy restoration, if you like your things restored/new. Or keep it and ride it as it is... all original! If you are "it's only original once" type of person. This trail bike is in running, fully operational condition. However, it's an old bike so no warranties, sold as is, where is. I'm happy to assist with shipping, but the winner/buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and arrangement. I will not crate the bike, I will take it to shipping dock at no cost. You are more than welcome to see/inspect the bike in person if you live locally, by appointment only... I have a child and free time doesn't come easily. This bike is for sale locally so I can/will end auction early if bike sells. Please contact me first if you are a new ebay member with Zero (0) feedback before bidding or your bid will be cancelled without notice. Any questions??? please ask before bidding. I have sold some bikes/vehicles here on eBay and experienced a non paying bidder before. Please honor your bid(s), check your bank account before you bid to see what you can afford. Research shipping cost too so you know what shipping will cost before you make your bid(s). I've sold my Volvo 240 wagon on ebay, sold my '66 chevy van, '67 CB160 racebike and '78 RD400. My feedback is 100% as a buyer and seller. I'm a private seller not a dealer, I sold only to thin out my toy collections. NO RESERVE AUCTION! HAPPY BIDDING!
