Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1970 Porsche 911T, you will find it to be in great restorable condition. I have a link to over 80 picturesof this vehicle, please message me through ebay for the link. This is a numbers matching sale, Original Engine and Trans are included. The car left the Factory wearing Signal Orange paint. The car has no signs of accident damage or rust repairs. The bodypanels are very straight overall. I purchased the car just as you see it, I bought it because it was very original and survived the 80`swithout the addition of widebody kits or other questionable "updates". I had always wanted a long hood pre-1974 car. When I first started driving 911`s, some guys with long hood cars converted them to post 1974 bumpers/hood/fenders. Now it`s the other way around. The car was primered and partially disassembled when I bought it. I do not have the Fuchs, they were not included in the purchase.I was looking forward to getting started on this car but my wife got pregnant shortly after I bought it, 8 months later we had twin boysso I think the car needs to go to a new owner. The car is in a storage unit, all items in the unit belong with the car. The storage unit ispaid through December 21st. I have owned 12 911`s, this is my first pre-74. I pretty much know all of the areas to expect rust. So here`s what I have found. The front pan needs full replacement but the rust does not go beyond the floor pan itself, easy fix. The underside of the doorshas some very minor rust, they will need a few hours of labor. The door jams are solid. The rockers are solid. The interior floor pan has no rust except for a small area behind the passenger seat. See link to pictures. The headlight buckets have a tiny bit of rust. Overall this car is in great condition, it is mostly complete, rust issues are minimal and it has retained much of its originality over thepast 43 years. I also have service receipts from 1982 until the 2000`s when it was parked. The receipts total over $20,000. The receiptswill be a nice piece of puzzle when this car is restored. The engine was exposed to moisture, it was stored in a leaky shed undera tarp for a few years. The engine needs a tear down and the surface rust is not an issue for a machine shop, The engine is also missing the fan/alt/housing and exhaust +minor misc. Here is a link to additional pictures. My reserve is low, If you are interested in Export from the U.S, I have sent three of my cars overseas in the past year and can assist with all aspects of shipping. If you want more pics email me through ebay for a link to 70+ pictures, They wont let me have that link here.Feel free to contact me with questions, I will provide my phone number upon request. Message me for a link to 75 additional photo`sOn Nov-25-12 at 18:19:13 PST, seller added the following information: I will keep updating as I am sure I have forgotten several things. First off, the factory rear bumper and body work is included.Secondly, only the front half of the trunk pan needs to be replaced. By the way, I am not a dealer, I am a Porschephile and gearhead. I willalso be selling my 1975 911S in the next few weeks, so keep an eye out. The car is free to stay in its storage unit up until 12/21 if you cannot pick it up right away. I have moderate experience with shipping automobiles, both Stateside and Abroad. Shipping Coast to Coast orOverseas can be very affordable if you are willing to wait 1-4 weeks for right price, I can assist with all aspects on my end. On Nov-28-12 at 01:10:05 PST, seller added the following information: Go to youtube and search "1970 Porsche 911T" you can filter search results by "this week" and find a 7 minute walk around video as well as the link to 80 additional pictures. I think that this video will better illustrate the good overall condition of this car. As far as "no signs of rust repair or accident damage".I would assert that this car does NOT seem to have "bondo bandaids" in rust prone areas, nor does it look to have previous collision damage. It does have rust, but this car does not appear to have any of the typical short term fixes to make it look presentable. If you want any additional pictures of have any questions please send me a message via ebay. Thanks for looking.
