For sale is my 1973 911 T coupe. History: I had planned on returning this car to its original condition: Signal Yellow- Ducktail car with AC and G03 package, a very, very rare 911 T. I have the Porsche certificate of authenticity confirming the original equipment on this 911. I purchased this car from a collector in Pennsylvania. The C2 "uppgrade" had been done by the original owner who grew tired of the yellow color and removed the original RS flares for the larger steel versions now on the car! The car had been changed in the 90's to its current look. I have many of the original pieces that would go with this auction including seats, air conditioning, full set of 15x7 and 15x 8" Fuchs wheels; original S front air dam/bumper, and a rear steel frame ducktail that I will include in the "Buy It Now" price. Condition: - Mechanical : The has been in storage for well over a year and as such will need a new battery, and some R&R if you wish to drive it. It has been sitting for some time but could be running in one afternoon. It was running well when it went into storage, but had a sticky valve and will most likely need some top end work to make perfect. It is the original 2.4 liter motor, along with the original 5spd transmission which shifts excellently. The transmission will not need a thing, the motor will need an overhaul. Suspension and brakes were recently gone through (new master cylinders) and so the car is fine in this regard. Body: There is only one small rust spot on the lower driver's door. Nothing else. The floors are original and still show their original signal yellow paint, as does the rear engine compartment on both sides. The updated body on the front has been zolotoned in the trunk to prevent any rust, and the steel is solid in all areas around the fuel tank- zero rust. Interior of this 911 is very nice and presentable. A very nice non-cracked dash, seats are in excellent condition and carpet, although potentially older is in very good condition. Tires and wheels are of the C2 vintage including the twist wheels. They need to be removed and have the Fuchs installed, but you could drive on these if that's your thing. What this 911 needs is a restoration and return to original configuration, both mechanical and cosmetic work will be needed. However, this is a verified rare signal yellow ducktail 73 with many very rare options that you wont find very often. How many original 73 ducktails do you know about (other than the RS types) that go for $200k+ now.
