1980 CAMARO Z28 ****AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION....POWER WINDOWS.....***HURST LIGHTING ROD SHIFTER......BUILT 355 1973 Z28 BLOCK WELL BUILT/PROFESSIONALLY DONE DRIVELINE*** This Z28 has been babied and well kept. Always garaged and improved over the years. Same owner since 1994. This Z28 sounds great with it's factory correct exhaust tailpipe system The driveline is tight and performs well. This Chevrolet is fun to drive and would not take much to improve and continue the restoration. This Camaro still has a great stock look/feel to it. The BODY has been repainted once several years ago. The lines, panels and doors are all in good shape still.( NEW DRIVERS DOOR HINGE PINS) The 1/4 panels are showing a bit of rust towards front (see photo) but all in all this body is in solid condition. The floors....frame, trunk and shock towers are all super solid. The HOOD STILL HAS A FULLY OPERATIONAL RAM AIR ASSEMBLY. (ORIGINAL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY INCLUDED) The INTERIOR has been NEWLY REUPHOLSTERED 6 years ago as well as NEW CARPET AND DOOR SILL PLATES. ***ORIGINAL GLASS WITH WORKING REAR WINDOW DEFOG***...... tilt steering...power windows.....all lights...work properly as well as ALL DASHBOARD GAUGE PACKAGE FUNCTIONAL EXCEPT CLOCK. Interior overall is in great condition. The ENGINE is a 1973 L82 block from a Z28. It is a FOUR BOLT MAIN BLOCK with STEEL CRANK. GM WINDAGE TRAY. GM PINK RODS. Block is bored .30 over with TRW DOMED PISTONS. Compression ratio is around 10.25 to 1. Original power pack heads with 202 valves. This Z28 has a GM FACTORY ALUMINUM INTAKE with a 160 degree thermostat and a QUADRAJET FOUR BARREL CARB. that is off the same 1973 Z28. Also equipped with a EDELBROCK TORKER II CAM and RHOADS LIFTERS.....CLOVES DOUBLE ROLLER TIMING CHAIN. HOOKER HEADERS AND FLOWMASTER MUFFLERS WITH ORIGINAL FACTORY TAILPIPES. GM HEI distributor with curve kit. 350 turbo AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION with SHIFT KIT. ORIGINAL GM 10 BOLT POSI REAR END WITH RICHMOND 3:90 GEARS.
