Vehicle Detail

UPDATE: I am relisting with a Buy It Now price. I know the market for Grand Wagoneers-this is a solid " Woodie" worth at least 10K in it's condition. It is not the Showroom one in Sarasota FL asking $24k or one from wagoneerworld.com for $15K plus. The only negative on mine is the drivers seat- which I am professionally attending to in the next week-everything else has been done to make this Woodie to make it solid and reliable for years to come. Call or text me and let's find this Woodie a new loving home! Ladies and Gents up for sale is my imported from TEXAS RUST FREE 85,000 mile mint and original Woody in very desireable color combination of Almond Tan exterior and Nutmeg interior. I much prefer the AMC Grand Wagoneer interior -1. Leather arm rest, all leather interior-not just on seat surfaces compared to vinyl on Chrysler version. 2. I like the 22oz shag carpet compared to low cut. 3. Simplicity of interior headliner-no ugly overhead counsel 4 None of the clearcoat issues found on a 88-91 Jeeps 5. Marine Teak woodie patern compared to different pattern on latter ones. OK I am car guy ( Current stable- 911 Turbo, Quattroporte, S500,XJR,61 Caddie Convert etc etc) which are fine but I love driving Grand Wagoneers! They are just authentic-and what was true decades ago is still true now-4WD to go anywhere and comfortable/ stylish enough to take to the Club. I researched and looked long and hard to find 2 Grand Wagoneers owned by a fellow car guy in Texas. I bought both and had them professionally trucked to Connecticut.I am keeping the 1985 but want some one else to enjoy this amazing 1984 Grand Wagoneer. I would NEVER buy a Woodie originally from the Northeast. This Woodie has NO rust issues. This Woodie is ready to go to Nantucket, the Vineyard,Cape or weekend ski house. She looks great and deserves a dignified semi retirement. My son in College and his friends think they are so cool taking one in 4wd onto the Beach in the Vineyard. I gave my local ACS Certified mechanic instructions to replace/fix anything required to make her have no issues. All major things have been done either by me or the previous owner in Texas. In no particular order: New battery, all power window's serviced, new A/C compressor and converted to modern r134, undercoated, transmission fully serviced and 4wd perfect, rebuilt carb, detailed, new tires, alignment, oil change. Original radio works fine and good reception with old style antenee. All interior seats and leather perfect except drivers seat (I was convined by friend to keep original "patina"). I also purchased and will include a Complete interior replacement carpet (cost $299) from teamwagoneer dot com. Original 22 oz carpet great in passenger areas but not so good in cargo area-hence replacement purchase. I am available to answer questions or texts at 860 575 0867. I can meet you for a test drive as well easily-my world seems to be a driving triangle of Greenwich CT,Old Lyme CT and Springfield MA. NOW is the time to buy this fun and appreciating Wagoneer for the upcoming Holidays. All the Best, Mark
