Vehicle Detail
Looking to move on from this project car to cut down the number of vehicles owned! The car is basically a stage 2 05' STI in a 97' body which is a few hundred pounds less weight. Its a 1997 Black 4 door GC, I worked at MSPT for a period of time so please keep in mind it was done correctly. The entire sub frame, suspension, brakes, motor, transmission were from a 2005 STI and were never taken apart at all, the entire bottom half of the car was taken down and put in the GC body as one unit. The interior is from a black 2006, dashboard and everything. This car needs a couple minor things but overall it had very low miles when it was put together (17k) and now in the past year of driving the car as a commuter it is up to 33k. The car runs mint and gets about 25-26mpg (i dont beat on it). It will pass inspection free and clear so there are no worries about that, everything plugs in the obd2 port and scans fine from day one and not one CEL since assembly. It registers as a clean 1997 GC so you can expect insurance and everything to be low based on that as well."upgrades"-Greddy SP2 exhaust-Invidia catless downpipe with wideband o2 bung welded in-Apexi boost gauge-K&N intake-Perrin (i believe) stainless reservoir tank-front and rear strut bars-JDM STI white lowering springs-JDM front bumper -Dave tuned the car-Carbon trunk lid-Custom mounted STI hood scoop-HID's in new headlightsI have modified TGV's i will give the new owner of the car to swap in if they wanted I know that an STI with the mileage and the year of the motor/trans/suspension would go for $17k+. i am looking to get less than that so that i dont have to part it out, i have the AC line, belt and compressor in a box that i removed because i didnt use it, so i am willing to let anyone come look at the car if they are serious and make a serious offer.
