Vehicle Detail
2003 Chevrolet Silverado LT 3500 Dually Ext Cab 4 Door 4X4. 106,577 actual miles, Michigan rebuilt title. Equipped as follows: 8.1L Supercharged V8 Gasoline engine. Whipple supercharger, which cost $10,000 dollars, and putting the truck I was told at 500 HP. Automatic, air (cold), tilt, cruise. Power steering, brakes, windows, locks, and mirrors. Power extender mirrors, and dual front power seats. Leather seating, with dual front heated seats, and dual front power lumbars seats. Drivers front memory seat. Rear defoger, fog lamps, am fm cd/cassette stereo, on star, matching cap, bed matt, and step bars. Trailer tow package, security system, loaded. Condition as follows: This truck was a trade in to me. I was told by the guy I got it from that it was side swiped on the left side. He told me that there never was any frame, or side structure damage to the truck. I believe what he told me as all of the side structure, posts, roof, etc are all still original paint, and have been untouched. Even both side doors and hood are original body panels. The left front fender and fender flair have been replaced, and he had a body shop door all the rest of the repairs to the truck. They repaired the hood, and both left side doors. The repair work done was not very good. Neither of the bolt on plastic box sides on the truck were touched either, and both need to be replaced. This tuck can be driven in as is condition, or fixed up your call?. If I were to fix the truck up, I would replace the front bumper chrome part, the hood, re skin both left doors, replace both bolt on plastic box sides, replace the rear bumper, and paint accordingly. More details on the truck as follows. Some of this is just repeating myself. The chrome part of the front bumper has some scratches and dings in it. The hood had been repaired, and you can definately see the repair work. Both of the left door skins have been mudded up and could be redone. The left box side needs to be replaced, the rear bumper is all notted up and needs to be replaced. The middle upper and lower tail gate has some dings in it (definately repair. The right box side outer skin needs to be replaced. The very top of the matching cap is scraped up, and the right rear top corner of it is cracked as well. The inside of the bed is beat up some but solid and very useable. If need be you could purchase a bedliner to cover all the cosmetic issues up. Two door dings in the middle lower rear of the right front door. There are some paint scratches and one tiny ding on the nose of the right front fender. The roof of the truck is all original and perfect except for one liveable ding in the middle left side of it (not from the accident). The inside is very clean with the following issues. There is one tiny cigarette burn mark in the upper cloth of the right door panel, and two in the left door panel. All of the leather is nice except for the drivers front seat which has a tear in the lower cushion outer edge, and also showing some wear in it as well. The upper headliner has a small liveable tear in it, on the far right front edge of it. The rest of the interior is real nice. Both front fog lamp assemblies have got broken housings in them. They work and look fine, but are loose in their pockets. The right front door side view mirror glass has got a crack in it, and the left door sied view mirror has got some light liveable scratches in the outer corner of it. The drivers front plastic snap on inner fender well, has the front outer corner of it broken off. Both rear inner fiberglass fender wells have some light damage to them but definately repairable. Under the hood the snap on plastic trim panel above the radiator is cracked. The truck runs perfect, and drives straight down the road, with the front end tight, no leaks, and everything working. The truck looks like it recently had all 4 shocks replaced. The previous owner just purchased 6 brand new matching Firestone tires for the truck at a cost of $1,000 to him. The engine runs perfect, and with the supercharger it is very quick if you need it. There are two small issues as follows. There is a light liveable right bank exhaust manifold leak that I can hear (not real loud). Lastly there is some wind noise I can hear from the top front of the drivers front door. I can see that the upper door hinge pins are bent from the accident and need to be replaced. This should bring the door back in where it needs to be and solve that issue. I did some research on this Whipple supercharger. You would be looking a 7K plus just for the parts to buy it. Then it has to be installed. I was told that the job originally cost 10K, which is what I am selling the complete truck for, with 1K worth of new rubber. Call me direct at (586) 336-3658 or email me for additional information, and to get all the additional detailed pictures I have of this truck. Note that I do have a perfect condition factory complete used rear bumper assembly including all the mounting brackets for an additional $100 dollars to the high bidder.
