This is a rare and well sorted/reliable Jensen Interceptor 3 - later model Vin 2211 1535 made in 12/74 . With the more desirable burr wood dashboard/facia and the best colour- RED for this car with the louvred bonnet/hood It 's a real show stoppper and crowd pleaser - comments and smiles all along the way . This car has lived in California all it life and had 3 oweners- the previous one for 22 years - before him the first for 13 years and now myself 3 years approx . i have only put on 2000 miles on it due to limited use at odd weekends - weather permitting 2000 miles approx since buying and used just for odd weekends . i have invested alot of money in this vehicle as i expected to keep this car for a much longer time . Prices are on the move as the new jensen interceptor will be out in 2013 from UK - sparking alot of interest in the original design of which the new ones has been designed along similiar lines as this one . Good ones are likely to be a fast appreciating asset . Jensens were m built in Uk ,designed in Italy and the engines supplied from USA - Chrysler muscle car - 440 cu - so easy to maintian in the USA as parts readily availbale about 6500 interceptors coupes were made in total form FF to I and II and teh last model III or interceptor 3 . they are far and few between now . This car is located in hayward California and highly original with the rear lambswool still in place even the a/c works . Drivers Front seats has a small tear but all else in good shape. I have had all the electrics rewired with new wire harnesses supplied by K&D (the US jensen experts ) etc .Car has been super reilable with this work completed . I bought this car as it is solid and had no rust/clean floor panels etc having lived in california all its life - as well as the previous owner had reconditionned/rebuilt the engine with new pistons etc .
