A great Porsche at a great Price. Blue Book value is currently $53,400. Read through all the information below because this is a great car with a unique story. I have this car priced at $13,000 below average value for one reason; it has a rebuilt flood title but the car was never damaged. Let me repeat the car has not been damaged by water or repaired, all parts and equipment are factory original. Here is the short story. The original owner came out of a Home Depot store after a flash flood storm and all the cars in the lot were sitting in 4 inches of water. The owner became very excited and somehow got his insurance company to total his car and replace it. The car was bought by a used dealer and I bought the car when it had $8,000.00 miles on it. Before I bought the car I had it shipped to Manhattan Motor Cars who performed a complete inspection for me. They did engine diagnosis, removed the front truck compartment looking for any water and removed the driver seat to check wiring harness connections at the lowest point in the car. The car passed with no issues found. They did recommend replacing the rear tires and to do scheduled regular maintenance because there was no way to know when that was done last. Both of those items have been done. Since I bought the car in New York I had to have the car inspected again by the Ohio State Bureau of Motor Vehicles and the car passed perfect. In 2011 the car was inspected again prior to time trials at Mid Ohio Raceway for a 3 day event sponsored by Chin Motorsports and again passed perfect. Top speed on the track achieved was 156mph. I had the car re-aligned and rear tires were replaced at 23,000 miles by Firestone and another overall inspection was done. I have had Byers Porsche in Columbus Ohio do most of my regular service including a full 35K maintenance just completed on 10-12-12. The Byers service team knows the car and even did a warranty repair for me on 1-19-12 when a seat control started working irregularly. I will provide inspection forms as requested, the warranty work service order and the last 35K service done by Byers. If you have never owned a Porsche, you need too and at this price you can own. Comparable cars at Porsche dealers are going for $60,000.00. It kills me to have to sell mine but I have taken a back injury and I can’t drive my 911 any significant distance now without pain. I will be purchasing a cross over like a Cadillac SRX or something equivalent and will consider working with a dealer or looking at a trade option.
