2002 Jetta TDI base model GL. I get 42-48 miles to the gallon(city v. hwy), or 500-600 miles per tank. 1.9 motor with turbo, 5 speed transmission, diesel geek clutch and flywheel, car has been regularly maintained for mileage and performance, 110,000 mile major service done, timing belt(used the 100K belt, not due until 220,000 miles), water pump etc. Previous owner installed Viton fuel lines to allow this car to run Biodiesel 100 or pump diesel. This car has passed smog and puts out about 180HP. The injector nozzles are upgraded to Bosch .205's, OMI, and Rocket chipped. Black cloth interior, Sirius Satellite radio with CD changer, Infinity Amp and upgraded speakers in stock mounts. NO LEATHER NO HEATED SEATS NO MOONROOF. 172,xxx miles, tires are less than a year old and showing 80% tread left, registered to 2013. Needs: front axles and cv boots replaced($450) and AC relay switch on dash is out, AC works as tested by my mechanic(switch is $30.99 at VW dealership). Cruise control out as well. Went out the first week I bought it 5 years ago. Relay issue. Glove box handle broken, and center console hinge busted. Console cover is still on. Needs the axles and cv boots done for daily commuting, seals are fine. I would drive this Jetta anywhere as it is, San Diego, Reno, Portland or Seattle, it will make a trip home fine if you are flying in to Sacramento to pick it up. Sold as is where is.
