Vehicle Detail

I HAVE A BEAUTIFUL 1964 CORVETTE ROADSTER AVAILABLE FROM A VERY FANATICAL COLLECTOR. This is a THREE owner 1964 Corvette 327 Roadster. The odometer shows 44,578 miles (as of this date), and given how well preserved this mid-year is we’re inclined to believe the title which states the miles as actual. The original engine was replaced sometime in the car's past. The current engine is code correct for a 1967 Corvette with a 327/350hp mill (block #: 3903352, '64-'67 327/2-bolt main) it has '67 exhaust manifolds, 202 "Fuelie" heads (heads #'s: 3782461, '64-'66 optional engine, 250-375hp), and a '64 winters intake (intake #: 3844461, '64-'65 350 and 365hp). It looks very correct under the hood. The transmission is a M21 close ratio 4-spd and the rear is a 3:36 Posi-Traction unit -- both believed to be original to the car. The radiator has been re-cored and is complete with the correct overflow tank and clutch fan. It has the correct alternator, and the sealed battery is topped with a correct looking battery “topper”. Some upgrades to the car include a very high quality repaint to 1965 Corvette Nassau Blue said to have cost $10,000 (orig color was "Silver Blue"), brand new 1967 Corvette Rally Wheels (15x6), new Redline Radials, and those legendary Corvette side pipes. The undercarriage is very clean and the frame is rock solid with no evidence of rust or accident repairs. I'm sure you'll agree the car looks amazing -- included with the sale is a matching hardtop. The paint was done in high-end PPG 2-Stage Base Coat followed with a very deep clear coat applied to protect the color coat. The body panels seem to be original and are very straight with proper gap measurements to the doors and hood. The chrome looks to be original and shines nicely. All lights and gauges work perfectly. The 64 instrument cluster is a favorite among mid-year collectors and this one is very nice. Working AM-FM radio (with removable iPod connection), factory seat belts, and a very nice wood wheel accent the newly refurbished black interior. The seats were redone with new foams and recovered in the correct vinyl giving them an "as new" feel, the front and rear carpets and both door panels are in great shape. All interior hardware and electrical items are in perfect working order. The car has a new black soft top with a protective paint appliqué to preserve the deck paint when the top is up and a "pillow" that will not crease the window when the top is folded down. The side glass is original, it has a replacement windshield, very nice weather-stripping, and the windows operate perfectly. The heater and defroster work great and the controls move easily with no issues. The factory shifter rows thru the gears like butter, no noises, no vibrations, and no rattles. The brakes have been recently gone thru including the e-brake; they’re all new and work flawlessly. The suspension has also been gone thru including the addition of a sway bar up front, new shocks, and all new springs (both front and a new rear spring) and body bushings. This car is 100% garaged and only driven on those perfect days. It runs and drives as you would expect any a low mile, well maintained Corvette to. This car will certainly make the next owner very proud to own. It can be driven anywhere and it's 100% ready to be enjoyed now. THIS IS A GREAT RUNNING CAR THAT PULLS LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN!
