1974 Dodge Charger project car that has a lot of potential. The first picture is of the car prior to dis-assembly. The other pictures are of the current condition it is in.I will start with the good things and finish with the concerns.The Charger body is in above average condition,floorboards,trunk pan and frame are very good due to this car still having much of its undercoat still intact. Paint is shinny but does have a few chips.Seats have been recently recovered as well as carpeting is above average. Gas tank has been removed and professionaly cleaned then painted re-installed and has a new cas cap.Charger has new door rocker panel entrance plates.Engine bay is in primer and nearly ready for paint. The things that do need attention is the rear bumper and taillight housings,door and window seals need replaced and seatbelts. Another issue is with the turn signal switch needing replaced. Now for the good aspects of this Charger! The car has either installed or incuded over $1700 of new parts which are listed below : Motor and transmission are ready to install and have both been painted with high temperature paint. Motor has installed new oil pump,oil,pan,water pump,valve guide seals,double roller timing chain & gears(new gaskets installed water pump-exhaust manifold-intake manifold-thermostat-oil pan-timing cover),chrome thermostat housing,replaced any questionable freeze plugs,egr valve,motor mounts,new AC spark plugs,fuel pump and gasket,2 fuel filters,oil pump pick up screen and oil filter ! Transmission is a 904 with new front and rear seal,dip stick o ring seal and transmission filter and gasket. Other new and or rebuilt parts included with car are: Chrome valve covers (original valve covers included),chrome air cleaner and adapter,chrome oil dip stick with o ring,power steering chrome dip stick,chrome oil breather,,distributor,distributor cap,rotor,plug wires, ballast resister,radio resister,choke assembly,ignition coil,chrome coil mounting bracket,voltage regulator,electronic ignition,radiator,radiator hoses top and bottom,heater hose (bulk),by pass hose,fan belts for either application A/C or non A/C,necessary vaccum hoses (bulk,rebuilt starter,professionaly rebuilt 2 barrel carburetor,power steering pump,high pressure power steering formed hose and bulk hose for other line,master cylinder,chrome master cylinder cover,new universal joints installed in painted driveshaft,rear end gasket,valve cover gaskets,rebuilt windshield wiper motor,,wiper blades,new positive and negative battery cables,battery tray,1 year old battery,5 quarts of pennzoil motor oil,2 gallon of antifreeze,6 quarts of transmission fluid,thrush turbo muffler,recent replacement of front and rear shocks & brakes Tires are in good condition and magnum 500 wheels could use the black center repainted but are presentable as is. Other items included in auction are : Haynes repair manual and owners manual.
