1969 1/2 Dodge Superbee up for auction I have owned this car for some time, I believe that I was the third owner of this car as far as I have traced it back. The car is R4 red with black vinyl interior and black vinyl top this is one of 1487 A 12 Superbees made in 1969 . This car is a counsel automatic one of 661 automatics made in that year. This is a Non Numbers matching car It has a 1968 440 motor in it D440, intake and carbs I believe to be original to car I do not know the year of the 727 transmission that is in it. The body is in O.K shape I have added pictures of the trouble spots, it has problems that all B body cars of that time would have. Paint is in ok condition still has a shine to it vinyl roof is intact with no rips and still looks good. The interior in this car is in good condition seats have no rips or tears headliner has a couple small holes, the sunvisors have a little splitting door panels are in good condition and carpeting is in good condition. The interior for a forty plus year old car is in good condition all body codes match up the only problem is a small hole in floor pan by dimmer switch. This was a common problem with these cars. the body of this car as the pictures show does need work ,but It is not a basket case by any means I believe you will need a trunk floor as the picture shows the patch job done by previous owner. there is another patch in trunk that I could not get a good picture of. The fender tag and vin tag are intact and good condition but no build sheet.The vintag reads 18118 259132 9A261274 926 999 93 26 A12 1X 8X C16 R4 R4 M6x X9 WM23 E63 D32 426 922114 for the people that know these cars you can decode them if you dont and have a question I will try to answer it for you. The car does have minor mechanical issues and has not been driven for a few years, but gas was drained out when car was put up the motor will freely turn. The motor and trans are in good working order car was a driver and just needs some TLC to be road worthy again. This is a pretty rare car less than 4,000 A12 cars built in 1969 and SIX PACK Registry has about 480 registered on there site. This is a real M code car a chance for someone looking for a Six Pack car to have without paying six figures for it .It is a chance for someone that can do some work make a good driver out of this car and have a pretty rare muscle car.
