1986 Mercedes Benz 560SLI absolutely love this car. I am the second owner. I purchased it this summer down in San Diego as my weekend car but unfortunately I just found out I am moving to NYC for work and can not take it with me. My loss is your gain! This car has the 5.6L V8 and it runs well. Transmission shifts smoothly. I recently had it serviced and it has new belts & hoses and all the fluids were flushed and refilled. The car drives nice for its age and is a blast to cruise in with the top on or off. This car has quite a bit of power with a big 8cyl. Very clean under the hood and undercarriage. Transmission was replaced by the original owner about 20,000 miles or so ago. Overall, its a great little vintage car and I am offering it at a reduced price in hopes of trying to sell it fast before my move. The exterior of this car is in good condition. It is a dark metallic grey in color and the paint is in fair condition for its age. There is some fading on the doors and very subtle spots in the clear coat (as seen in the photos). I think the car was parked in a garage most of its life. The body is very straight but it does have the usual small scratches and nicks you find on an older car. There is a small dent next to the driver's door that should be popped out (I didn't even notice it until I waxed the car this past month). This car has a lot of chrome on it and it is all in very good condition. It has the hardtop that is removable which is very easy to remove.. it just takes two people to lift it. The top is in excellent condition. It has the factory Chrome Wheels that are in good shape but some of the chrome is starting to peel on a couple of them. The mechanic who just serviced it mentioned the suspension is a little loose and needs to be serviced, as well as the brakes, but otherwise has no other known issues. It has a nice set of tires that have a good amount of tread left. Overall, a great car for its age and the price it is offered at.Options:Automatic Transmission5.6L 8cyl. EnginePower WindowsPower LocksLeatherFactory A/C Original RadioThe interior is in good condition but does have a few cosmetic things that you can fix to get it in pristine condition. The seats are in good shape but do show signs cracking and wear from getting a little dry and worn from getting in and out which is typical. The carpets are in great condition and show very little wear and only have a couple minor stains that would come out with a good shampooing. Has all the options except heated seats. There are a few cosmetic blemishes in the interior (as seen in the photos) but the condition is conducive to its age. AC could use a recharge and the passenger side window occasionally sticks. Minor issues that come with age and are easily fixable.This is a great vintage car that has worked well as a weekender for me or could be used as a good runner. These are great cars to drop the top on and go for a drive. The car is not perfect but it is a good driver that you will maintain over the years and is certainly one of the better condition ones I've seen out there.
