1971 Chevrolet K-5 Blazer CST for sale. Originally a California vehicle, been in Michigan just a few years. Truck has very minor rust. It has one rust hole on the drivers side behind the door at the bottom (in front of the rear wheel). The frame is ROCK SOLID, floor pans are solid, the vehicle is very solid except for the one rust hole and one of the rockers looks a little weak. The truck appears to have the original paint on it. The color is a mustardy yellow or greenish yellow (the wife and I still debate this today). Original 350 4 barrel V8. Manual transmission with granny gear. 4 wheel drive with locking hubs and disc brakes. New front brakes, new battery, brand new exhaust. Truck has a/c... the compressor pump went bad so I have a brand new one in the back of the blazer that goes with it, just needs installation. Both exhaust manifolds are cracked but I have two good used ones with no cracks that go with the blazer. I also have a dash cluster with the factory tachometer that goes with it. It is complete with all the wiring harness. 4 wheel drive works good. The truck has no dents in it! This truck has never been taken off road and abused. The interior is real nice but could use carpet. All gauges work as well as the interior lights. The top is totally removable - it looks really cool with the top off! The radiator leaks so you would want to replace that or have it re-cored. I don't want to make the blazer sound bad, just want to be up-front so that there are no surprises. This is a really nice truck. Do your homework and see what these sell for redone. Picture yourself cruising in the summer with the top off, with a nice set of tires & wheels and a shiny paint job! I always wanted do re do it myself, I just have too many irons in the fire right now, and this truck deserves and warrants a re-doing. Truck runs good however it needs a tune-up, or possibly the carb needs to be rebuilt. The truck has sat for several years. The truck is pretty much all original and hasn't been wrenched on.
