Up for auction, a nice 1965 Buick Skylark Convertible. 154k miles, western car. Engine and Driveline: Original 310 V8, have receipt for rebuild 5k miles ago. Runs great. 2 spd auto trans, shift as should. Original rear and suspension with added stabilizer bar in front. Single exhaust with Turbo Muffler, sounds nice. Power steering and brakes. Runs and drives great. Body and paint: Body is very solid, showing a couple bubbles on one quarter by door (pictured), and just a little rust behind rear bumper by tailights. Not sure if any filler but looks real straight. Paint has nice clear shine but is older and has a few cracks on the passenger side. Nice driver quality still. Floors and trunk look rock solid with no visible rust. Frame is rock solid but has/had some rust behind front wheels which I'm told is typical of the model. I scraped out all the dirt and rust, then sprayed it with some rust preventitive. There are a couple holes on bottom side.Side and top of frame in that section are solid and rust free. Bumpers are original and show age, trim is very nice. Overall a very clean dry car. Not a show car, but very cool. Wheels and Tires: Very Nice 14 inch Buick Rallys with like new Tires. 225/70/14 all around Interior and Electrical: All Electrical works as should including power top. Interior is all original. Seat foams are old, Vinyl is all really nice but the cloth inserts are worn and discolored. Usable but old. Carpets nice. Dash has a few small cracks. All Glass very nice and windows work as should. Convertible Top is in Excellent condition, fits and operates very well. Nice rear window. Comes with boot and clips. This is a very cool convertible. Runs straight down the road. Very reliable with no known issues. Turn key ready cruiser. Just floats. Not a perfect show car but gets tons of looks and is a blast to drive. Could be restored or really enjoyed as is. Found a 32 Ford Project I want so its gotta go. Priced to sell clean title. Bid to win.
