1952 Ford F1 We are here for you at MotoeXotica Classic Cars and will ensure your online buying experience will be a pleasurable one from start to finish. We are now in our 10th year selling on Ebay with over 1,300 positive feedbacks! MotoeXotica was one of the Pioneer Classic Car dealers on Ebay and have seen a lot of dealers come and go. We have a brick and mortar 30,000 sq. ft. building on 5 acres in St. Louis, MO to serve you; we like to sell our cars the same way as we would like to purchase them, fairly and honestly. We ask for a nominal $500.00 credit card deposit and give you a 7 day grace period to inspect the car. If you find the car not to your liking we will refund your deposit with no questions asked should you get here and not like the vehicle. We all know that the financial times right now are tough. With the stock market being so volatile and investments becoming less valuable, many people are turning to the classic car market to invest their money. Putting your money into a hard asset that you can enjoy everyday is becoming a very popular option, especially now when the marketplace is lower then it’s been in many years. We invite you to put your money into a vehicle that is fun to own and brings back memories of when you were younger. We offer financing through two of the best lenders in the industry. If you visit www.jjbest.com or www.woodsidecredit.com they are currently offering very attractive rates for all collector and special interest automobiles. With loan amounts from $10,000 to $500,000, and flexible terms of up to 12 years, you can get financed for as low as 6.99%. Please feel free to contact us at anytime during the duration of the auction with any questions you may have. Please see my "ME" Page for other exciting cars of distinction on EBAY. Start Slideshow Stop Slideshow Next Image Previous Image Ford's legendary F-Series began in January of 1948, with eight levels of trucks: F-1 for half-ton pickup, F-2 for three-quarter ton, up to the F-7 and F-8 heavy-duty trucks. Base engine was a 226-cid flathead six-cylinder producing 95 horsepower. Optional was Ford's infamous flathead V8, displacing 239-cid and making 100 horsepower. A floor-shifted three-speed transmission was standard on the half-ton trucks, with a four-speed standard on bigger trucks, and optional on the half-tons. Aside from drivetrain and 114" wheelbase, Ford's new 'Bonus-Built' trucks were completely different from the car-based trucks they replaced. All-new front sheet metal featured integrated headlights, a one-piece windshield increased visibility, and the cabs were now wider, longer, and taller. Increased interior dimensions started with a seven-inch stretch in cab width, and by positioning the door hinges three inches farther forward, easier entry was obtained. The steering wheel was more horizontal and mounted closer to the driver, and a three-person bench seat moved back and forward on roller bearings. To help isolate frame flex, rubber mounts were used between cab and frame. The F1 models had a 6-1/2 foot cargo box with an all-steel floor, giving 45-cubic-feet of load space. F2 and F3 models had an eight-foot bed. On the back of all trucks was a single-side taillight. The ’52 Ford F1 you see here is fresh out of a complete restoration this past month. Finished in black with red interior, the truck is extremely well done and is powered by a 460 Cu In V8 big block and a C6 automatic transmission. With a new Heidts front end, disc brakes, new wiring, all new rubber seals and glass, a power rack and pinion steering system, new wood bed and meticulous paint, this truck has everything you could want. The paint on the truck is new and nearly perfect. This is a base coat / clear coat paint that has been finished to a mirror like quality as you can see in the photos. The truck is extremely straight and solid. The bed has had all new wood installed and looks great with the contrasting black paint. The rear bumper has been removed but the front looks great and has been painted to match the body. All of the glass is new as well as all of the rubber. All of the stainless trim was also polished during the restoration and looks great. Inside, the red vinyl upholstery is all new and looks great. The black / red color combination is extremely desirable and by looking at this truck, you can see why. The interior has been painted black as well as new carpet and seat belts being installed. The kick panels, door panels, behind the seat and bench seat have all been recovered with red vinyl that looks great. The gauges have all been rebuilt and look great. There have been a set of SunPro gauges installed under the dash that show oil pressure and temperature. A blinker switch was added on the original steering column that works with no problems as well as the lights, blinkers, electric wipers and under dash heater. Under the hood, the original flat head has been replaced with a Ford big block 460 cu In V8 connected to a C6 automatic transmission. This sits on a new Heidts front end with rack and pinion steering and disc brakes. The motor is extremely clean and has is fed with a rebuilt Holley 4bbl carb. The electronics are all new and the truck has been converted to a 12 volt system. The wheels are from Cragar and are wrapped with new radial tires all around. The underside is very solid and has been undercoated. VIN number is F1R2HM56652 and the current mileage shows 95,755.
