1975 Mercedes-Benz 450 SL Clear title with 144,784 miles. Purchased as a project car but due to the economy now have one recent graduate from college and another both unemployed. The following have been replaced in the past 6 months. Fan for heater/air, water pump, coil, distributor cap and rotor, points, vacuum hose for brake boost, brake hoses on rear, pads on all, fuel pump and filter, and air filter. The transmission fluid and filter were changed. The oil and filter were changed then after approx. 100 miles changed again because the car had been sitting for an unknown time. The rocker panels will need to be replaced as shown in pictures. Has been running great and air conditioning worked this summer but may need freon, uses R-12 or you may could consider changing. Sometimes has difficulty starting. Would still consider it a project car but as mentioned grand-children need some assistance more than I need a project. Fun little cars and attractive with the removable top and air conditioning. Attracts a lot of lookers! Thanks for looking! (Just noticed the picture of the gauges, it was at idle when the picture was taken temp. normally runs there, it was at 900 RPM that didn't show in the picture.)
