Up for sale is a 1972 Buick Skylark Custom 2 Dr HardTop Sport Coupe. I am the second owner of this car, and bought it in 1988. It has a 350-2bbl and Automatic Trans with dual exhaust. Is equipped with A/C, did work, but needs to be charged. Rare Halo Vinyl Top. Rare Buick Painted Rims and Beauty Rings avalible on, 1971 models and early part of 1972 only. Engine was professionally machined and rebuilt at 112,500 miles, and has 17,000 on the rebuilt engine. Transmission needs seals replaced. Has the correct 1972 center caps on the rims. All rubber gaskets on the body has been replaced. All rubber on bumpers and bumper guards have been replaced. Buick Club of America national award winner St Louis 1997 Second in Class. Richmond Va 2000 2nd in Class. Charlotte Motor Speedway Fall of 2000 1st in Mid Size Class. This was an earlier restoration being completed in 1997... With the lack of indoor storage, this has sat outside in the elements for about 10 years. Has surface rust on body as well as under the vinyl top.. Would need minor body repair and paint, along with new vinyl top.... The interior is mostly original with the exception of a new headliner and carpet. Carpet has faded through the years and the driver side of front seat needs a little repair. Back package tray would need replacing as well. Dash has a crack on one side (see pictures). I have all record of repair and also a copy of the original title. Stainless is in good shape. Bumper and Bumper guards have been rechromed. Has passenger side chrome mirror. Also has the 1972 metal grill and it is fully intact...
