I was told that the truck was built by a gentleman in Talledaga, Alabama area who used it for cruising and hauling grandkids in parades. Estimated built in 2008-2009. It was sold to a gentleman in NW Georgia in 2010 who did not make any improvements to the truck he told me. It was used occaisionally just for weekend cruising. I brought the truck home and to finish the truck out with items listed above, and upgrade the safety of the truck. The major work I had done on this truck was performed at Nick Nicholas Ford, Inverness, Fl. (have receipts) Truck is in good mechanical working order. NOTE: mileage is estimated as electric speedometer has a wiring short that I haven't located yet,...truck had 850 miles showing when I purchased it and I have driven approx. 900 miles. Speedo has worked sporadically. New wiring harness was going to be next part of project. The truck drives great and ride fairly smooth due to steel flatbed. Truck is unique in it's looks because not everyone has a '49 Ford Stakebed. Truck is still work in progress. This truck has won trophies this year when I have taken it out to shows, and always gets a lot of admirers. Cool street rod truck in time for the fall show season! Truck is for sale locally and other mediums, so I do reserve right to end this ad should the truck sell. I will make it available for inspection upon request.
