1986 FORD F-250 XLT LARIAT F250 7.5L TRUCK 2-DOOR PICKUP 8FT LONG BED We have owned this 1986 truck for a few years but have not used it much. Mostly been sitting in the driveway. We used primarily as a work truck. Mechanically still runs good but might need some TLC. Engine, automatic transmission, brakes are all good. Cruise control, radio cassette, and all lights work. This truck has air conditioning but does not blow out cold air so may need to be charged. All of the belts are in good condition except for the alternator belt that makes a lot of squeaky noise so needs to be replaced which the belt costs around $15 diy. The interior looks very good for the age and was a smoke-free environment. Has tilt steering wheel, dual tanks, and newer battery. Has new tabs that don't expire until Sept 29th 2013. Cosmetically the body is a little rough with dings, dents, big dent on the cab top, paint peeling off, paint splatter, scratches/blemishes, and there is a rusted out hole on the driver's side near the front (see close-up pictures). When we purchased this vehicle it did not have a tailgate only a net so the tailgate we installed is not original but looks good. Tires have about 30% left but still holds strong. Might need to change the windshield wipers. One of the hub cap covers is missing on the driver's side front wheel. Comes with the tool box shown with keys.
