Vehicle Detail
Partly chopped pre-unit vintage 1958 Triumph 650 T120 with extra parts in good condition. Engine rebuild includes new .030 over pistons, barrels bored to fit, std rod bearings, and wrist pin bushings. Fitted with Amal concentric carburators. Fork tubes are new and extended 8 inches, with rebuilt damper assemblies. The bars, seat, and gas tank are custom. The transmission has slick-shift. The wheels are 19" with chrome spokes. The engine runs, and with a minimal amount of finish work and wiring the bike will be roadworthy. Many extra parts, including engine (lower end complete) with transmission, Lucas magneto, set of barrels, head with some valves, headlight and brackets, Smiths speedo and tach, front and rear wheels (18"), miscellaneous pistons, axles, carbs, bolts, etc. Local pickup only. Sale is final. Please email with any questions. On Oct-28-12 at 13:17:26 PDT, seller added the following information:I purchased this bike from a motorcycle shop in 1970 as a project bike, and it was in pretty rough shape. The title, which is a regular title, does not specify junk or made from parts, and has a VIN number of 013854. That number is also stamped on the upper part of the downtube of the frame. The D1452 motor is what was in it, and apparently is a 1960. As far as I know, the frame has not been altered. The transmission that is in it is one I also purchased from a cycle shop (used), and the serial number is 29027. The serial number on the parts motor is T120R D13040, which indicates it is a 1961. The transmission serial number with this motor is 126114. I do not have immediate access to this bike since it is being stored out of state for me, so I can’t get further immediate pictures to post. I will try to answer any other questions you may have.
