Up for auction a 1979 Jeep CJ5. I am a small dealer in Northern Utah. I bought this Jeep at the dealer auction, it was listed as a donation to the national kidney foundation. I wanted to fix it up myself, but I have way too many projects and hate to see this sit outside!!! It has a fiberglass tub that has never been painted on, the front fenders and hood are solid with very minimal rust. The frame is solid as well. The windshield frame does have some rust on it. Really solid overall!! No doors, or top. It has a small block chevy engine and a 4 speed manual transmission. I got it to crank and it sounded consistant andhealthy while cranking. I didn't get it to start. It looks like it's been sitting a long time, im sure it needs new gas, and some tweaking to get it going. The clutch linkage was broken and still is. It looked like someone was starting to replace it and stopped and the whole project got abandoned. It looks like most everything is there. It needs an ignition system to go on it. NO KEY. The tires only hold air for a day or two, the wheels I think would clean up nice. This would make a great parts Jeep and it's complete enough to just finish yourself!!! I don't know much more than what I listed. I need the space so this will be listed with NO RESERVE! BID TO BUY!!! I have a clean and clear title to go with it, and it is obviously sold as is.
