**** Please note: I am re-listing my Land Cruiser because the winning bidder bid, won, and was never to be reached again. Do not bid unless you are prepared to purchase. Contact prior to auction close is strongly encouraged AND is required within 12 hours after ending. **** 1979 Land Cruiser FJ40. Dark Green exterior that was recently painted. The exterior also has a tubed front bumper that has been Rhino-lined. The rear bumper, roll bar, and interior floor boards, etc. have also been rhino-lined and those come with a lifetime warrenty. The motor has been replaced. It currently has less than 10,000 miles on it. All seals, universal joints, belts, hoses, etc. have also been replaced. The radiator was replaced approximately 5 years ago. The following is a list of upgrades or improvements: *New clutch 02-12-2010 *Added a power steering pump 06-2006 *New Battery 07-2012 *New Fuel Pump (at time of engine replacement) *New Oil Pump ((at time of engine replacement) *New tires (approximately 16-17K on them) *New electrical fuse box and some upgraded/replaced wiring (with the addition of the new exterior lights) 8-2011 *Regular oil changes and maintenance. A full binder of work and repair manual comes with the vehicle. It has been owned since November of 2005 and have continued to use as a regular driver and make upgrades yearly. It was purchased out of Texas, reportedly from the original owners family. It can easily be a daily driver or a weekend ride. You don't see many like this one in this good of shape. I have never had it off-raod! I don't smoke, either. All the factory gauges work (except the temperature gauge and it was replaced when they replaced the radiator). It has a clear title (GA title number: 770436053128153). I regularly will drive the vehicle back and forth from Charlotte, NC to the Atlanta, GA area and it will travel 70+/- without any difficulty (it does have a 4-speed which makes all the difference). The four-wheel drive works as it should. It does have several TUFFY brand security boxes installed. The only known problem currently is the radio has just started working intermittently; however, I plan to take it and have it looked at/or repaired.
