Vehicle Detail
Offered for sale is a 1969 Pontiac GTO. NOT a clone, but a real 242 VIN, with a 400 cubic inch engine, 4 speed manual transmission, and equipped with power steering and brakes. It starts right up and sounds great. It's not the original 400 that came in it, but it is a 400 Pontiac engine, as stamped on the side of the block. No knocks or rattles, no leaks, and no weird noises. The 4 speed transmission shifts well without noises or leaks. It's a very solid car that is ready for the next owner to take it to the next level or drive as it is. The interior is very nice, as you can see in the photos. There's not a lot a person will have to do in there to make it real nice. It's clean, it's complete, and it's black...what else could you ask for? The windows all roll up and down well, the glass is good, and the gauges all work, except for the speedometer. The car was painted many years ago, and it's time to paint it again. It's presentable as it is, but really needs to be sprayed again to make it awesome looking. The engine compartment was cleaned up, the trunk was detailed, and the interior finished. Paint is all that is needed. It drives great, the brakes work well, and the steering is tight and responsive. The tires are like new with no visible wear. The trunk floor looks excellent, and the floors all appear solid, as are the inner fenders, hood, and trunk lid. Great doors, rockers, and fenders, with only the normal rust and bubbles expected in an unrestored car that is over 40 years old. Much better than average, but obviously not perfect, or priced like one that is. Speaking of that, the car has a low reserve. If you want to know what the reserve price is, please call the owner at 941.626.7682. His name is Bill, and he can and will answer any questions you have. You can also email him directly at iloveitgc@hotmail.com. I AM NOT THE OWNER !!! I'm only listing the car for him. Any questions sent to me through ebay will be forwarded to him. Please send me your number if you want him to call you back. If you are interested in any trades, please send photos and info and I'll forward them to him, or send them to him directly. I can't negotiate the price, trades, or anything else. Please contact him. The car is located in Port Charlotte, Florida, approximately 90 miles south of Tampa on Florida's Gulf Coast. It's about 10 miles off of I-75, so picking it up or sending a shipper will be quick and easy. The seller will assist anyway possible with the shipping, but it is to be paid for by the winning bidder/buyer.
