This 1963 Galaxie 500, was a close friends car, a project that he worked on with his father. The loss of his father was the loss of interest in the car, it sat in mom and dad's garage until a few month ago when after more than a decade of me bugging him to sell he finally did. I put the 390 back in and the t 10 4speed with dragmaster shifter, the 390 is an early motor with 68 heads. it has a non posi 3.50 rear end gear and of course the standard 9 inch 28 spline rear axle. The paint is poor, the sheetmetal is nice, the body mounts are good. the chrome is fair to good for a 50 year old car. The heater box and windshield inside moulding are both missing. The car has seat from an XL model 63 they are not correct but came with the car when I bought it.They will need to be recovered.
