So aside from some stickers this car is the predecessor of the Mitsubishi 3000GT. This car came from the factory with LSD, a torquey 2.6L 4 cylinder Turbo engine, leather interior, and special to MY car is the SHP package or Super Handling Package, with wider wheels and tires, and adjustable shocks. These cars were top dog being quicker than RX7s, 300ZXs, Supras, and 5.0 Mustangs. Some 5500 Conquest were built in '89 less than half were SHP cars. The Car: Ill start with the bad. The car doesn't run. The previous owner "installed" forged internals. I don't know what he did, but there is gawling on the cylinder walls, so that motor is no good. I do have a REALLY good spare engine tho. Maybe 40k on that engine. When It did run, it shifted great, handled amazinigly, I think it needs alignment tho(it pulled to the right a bit) Everything inside works, heat, climate control, stearing wheel controls. Car has 68k and change on the odo. It shows underneath. Not a lick of rust under the car. The car is in project form now. The Head is off of the car and the car is in storage. I will clean the "new" motor up before sale, as well as orginize all parts for the engine. The car will run if the head is put back on and a battery is installed.(battery not included) I believe I am the third or fourth owner. There is no warranty on this car. Sold as is I STAND BEHIND MY DESCRIPTION. I believe this is a accurate depiction of the car. The car does have some rust, and it is missing some trim pieces, Its not a gem, but its still cool car. Upgrades: Lancer EVO 3 Turbo - 16G, very healthy, absolutely no shaft play. Koni springs Tokiko struts ARP head studs Delphi bigger injectors aftermarket boost gauge Painted - (ten footer) stainless steel braided lines on everything 1G MAFT and Cone Filter recent fuel pump put in. AC-Delete(have all the equipment) ABS-Delete(have all the equipment) Within last 70 miles: New Clutch plugs, wires cap and rotor oil change trans and diff oil change Spare parts: Entire 4G54B engine minus turbo, maybe 40,000 miles on it. 2 manual tranmissions dash A LOT of interior pieces, carpet, trim, panels, etc. full size spare computers - 2 ECMs,BCM, some other ones too not sure havn't looked in awhile. fender body parts, rear wing, front "grill" and top panel. rear differential 4 drive shafts - 2 auto/2 manual Resson for selling is that this car is just a head ache. I dont have the space for it so Just gotta part ways with it I think.
