This an extremely nice 1966 Rambler American 440 Convertible. Runs as good as it looks very smooth running. Very very clean original interior. Very clean top with clear rear window. It has a 304 CID V8 motor that I was told came out of a 1969 Javelin. Speedometer shows 20,000 miles but has not worked since new motor and trans was installed so mileage is unknown. I will post more details as auction progresses. Some minor rust on part of lower rocker panels see pictures. Frame rails and crossbracings were added to the unibody at time of engine install to strengthen the body due to this originally being a convertible unibody with a 6cyl engine. The trans is now a automatic floor shift. The interior and dash is surprisingly nice for original. It has genuine wire wheels with like new tires. This car is an attention getter!!
