Up for bid is a 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. Garage-kept Southwestern car - no body or undercarriage rust. Loaded up with leather and power everything - lots of options including heated seats, power windows, locks, mirrors, etc. Nice colors – medium marblehead gray metallic, also known as academy gray (silver) with gray cloth interior (although I can change the seats to gray leather, see below). Boasting GM's Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. 2.93 traction controlled open rear end helps deliver consistent 16 in town and 24 highway at 70 mph (a recent trip back from Las Vegas through the mountains at mostly 80 mph with A/C blasting returned 26 mpg!) Factory extra capacity cooling (build code V03) with engine oil cooler through radiator and external transmission oil cooler. Condition Report ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Good battery & charging system. Starts easy & runs strong. TRANSMISSION: Performs flawlessly. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors. Shifts perfectly - low mile tight. EXTERIOR: Body: Body is very straight and totally solid. No body rust ever, no collision damage or repair. Passenger side power mirror is slightly out of adjustment (see pic), but still power adjusts and folds exactly as normal. Paint: Paint is very nice and all original with light cracking on the left quarter extension as is typical of this model and a couple of light scratches, one just above the lower left stainless trim panel I tried to photograph but it is still hard to see. There is one small area of faded paint on the body-colored aluminum trim strip at the lower right of the rear window, just above the trunk lid. All in all, exceptionally presentable as seen in pics. Other: Lower stainless bright trim is nice and straight. Bumpers are straight and shiny chrome with good rub strips. Glass is good. Super beautiful solid undercarriage and frame as seen in pics. Aluminum wheels are in excellent shape, all center caps present and also in excellent shape. INTERIOR: Interior of the car is in very nice shape consistent with the low mileage. Carpets are nice and clean, dash has no cracks, door panels are in great shape. Headliner is in nice shape with no tears or sags. Cloth seats are super nice. Only one small area of wear on the felt B pillar trim (see right edge of front seat pic), which most of these Fleetwoods exhibit. Steering wheel is very nice. Non-smoker's car (see picture of ashtray and lighter) - no odors or any sort. Very nice interior overall - way above average for age. I can change the heated cloth power seats for heated leather power seats (and leather back seat) if you wish for an additional $250, please contact me and I will send you pictures of those other seats. I also have many more high-res pictures of the interior, exterior, engine, etc. for serious bidders, but this car is very nice and you really should see it in person. ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, button horn, wipers, etc.) and ALL the power stuff works properly including the following: key fob, power windows, power locks, dual power seats, power lumber, power recliners, heated seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, am/fm radio/cassette, power antenna, trunk release, trunk pulldown, keyless entry, intermittent wipers, auto level control, traction control, and rear defroster (I assume, no real way to check that in Phoenix heat!) all work properly. DRIVEABILITY: Drives out nicely - tight and quiet and strong. Steering is tight, suspension tight, and alignment is good. Brakes work great with no squeaks. Tires are a matched set of nearly new Bridgestone Insignias. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Rear end is quiet. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.)
