Shelby GT350 #8T02J180307-02868 . Up for auction from the Mustang Ranch in Golden, Colorado. Signed by Carroll back in the day when I had Dinner with him at an early Shelby Christmas party. This 68 Shelby GT 350 has its original numbers matching motor and transmission. I have owned this car for 20 + years and have put less than 100 miles on it. The car has been started three times a year since in storage to keep everything fresh. It is an 80,000 origional mile car. I was told by the second owner that the engine has never been removed and that the only repairs have been general maintainence and that the mileage is correct . The brakes and front suspension have had some components replaced at some point and are in great condition. It was originally a Lime Gold metallic car from the factory and he had it repainted Wimbeldon White. The body and paint look great. There are some occasional rock chips and small scraches but nothing to talk about other than a chip the size of a dime on the passengers side scoupe. There are no signs of rust, rust repair or collision, collision repair. All of the engine bay sheet metal, floor pans, torque boxes, frame rails, rockers, quarter panels, cowl, trunk drop off's, doors, fenders, hood and fiberglass are origional to the car. The interior is in original condition and in very good shape. Everything electrically works great, wipers, headlights, turnsignals heater and more. There are no sad stories to tell about this three owner Shelby. It is a nice example of a driver quality Shelby that someone can enjoy. More than anything the car needs a good cleaning from being in long time storage. There is no guarantee or warranty on this car so please call and ask as manny questions as you like.
