1969 Porsche 911S Targa. This is a very solid, running driving S that really needs only some cosmetic attention/restoration to be a very, very nice early car. This car was originally Bahama Yellow (paint code 6805) but was painted red at some point. It still has its original front fenders but has been fitted with SC quarter panels and a fiberglass rear spoiler and bumper. These are pretty easy to swap out and can be sold to offset the cost of returning the car to factory specification. This 911 still has its original drivetrain, the S motor (901/10) was rebuilt with new pistons and cylinders about 10k miles ago. Weber carbs and SSI heat exchangers were fitted but the original mechanical fuel injection was saved and is included with the car. I've driven this S around a bit and it runs, shifts, and brakes very well. The only rust that need to be addressed is a small spot at the base of the drivers door and drivers side fender. With good early cars fetching over $100,000, there is enough room as priced to do a light restoration and still be on the right side of market value.
