1978 classic,would love to keep the car ,however my uncle is in no shape to keep it running well and i dont want the car to sit ,it runs extremely well,no engine problems,car belonged to a mechanic. new brakes and rotars all around,new complete galvanized exhaust ,oil change /tune up,and a new battery. car has never been in an accident,could use a fresh coat of paint and she will be good as new..the car is in fantastic shape and should be given to someone who can do so..miles are very low at just above 57k original engine miles.interior is white leather and i good shape,the back looks like its never been used and front seat is still i very good condition. On Oct-04-12 at 23:45:17 PDT, seller added the following information: car is road worthy and waiting to take the next road trip..body has very little rust and could easily be fixed,car will run forever,has been taken care of and driven by a mechanic,can be driven away.no leaks,no noises, and surprisingly not that bad on gas. ,there are no water leaks,rust is not affecting the interior,there is rust on the roof that i will post ,it is not rusted through and can be fixed,this is one of the biggest reasons i want to get the car to a good home before this classic sits too long, being 34 years old and original body,the car is at risk..ATTENTION TRUE LINCOLN LOVERS,THIS CAR IS WORTH RESTORING,THE ENGINE IS SOLID,NOT ONE ISSUE,AND WITH 57K ORIGINAL MILES SHE DESERVE TO STAY ON THE ROAD..I PUT ON NEW SHOCKS THIS PAST FEW MONTHS AND DROVE HER TO UPSTATE N.Y. AND BACK WITHOUT ANY ISSUES,CAR WAS A PERSONAL VEHICLE UNTIL AUGUST,THE CAR WAS DRIVEN EVERY DAY BACK AND FORTH TO WORK ETC. BY MY UNCLE,HE IS ILL AND WE HAVE A FEW CLASSIC VEHICLES ON THE PROPERTY ALREADY THAT I AM IN THE PROCESS OF RESTORING...THE LINCOLN IS VERY BIG,AND I OWN TOO MANY CARS. On Oct-12-12 at 09:55:26 PDT, seller added the following information: recently added pictures of the interior,including the roof from inside ,,just to show the rust is not through the car,,i also have a brand new dash panel,and left front prking lense along with the car.. On Oct-12-12 at 16:42:47 PDT, seller added the following information: a.c. works like new and is ice cold,excellent heat as well,power windows ,seats,all work well..leather is in good shape..the only right away thing would be the roof rust which again is not through the car and does not leak ,the pictures of the roof interior are posted. check car fax for any info on the miles etc. ,this car deserves a new home and for the little bit of body work it needs the car will run for a long time as is and has great potential.
