For Sale is my beautiful 1974 Plymouth Barracuda- "CUDA --The Last model year for this legendary car! This car has been a joy to own and a very solid vehicle. Starts up with the bump of the key in any weather, 383 runs strong with no hesitation from the 4 barrel Edlebrock 600 Carb with electronic ignition and Pistol grip 4 speed is a real crowd pleaser. I have driven this car over 1,000 miles in a single road trip so a 180 mile trip to the beach is like a trip to the supermarket. Must hear the exhaust - has a nice rumble to it. Garage kept , waxed and gaulked over often. I cant even get gas without someone coming over with a story about one they have had or making me an offer or asking to take pictures. If you dont like attention this car is not for you. The car was originally a 360 car that has now been replaced with a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda 383 Block with updated heads for unleaded fuel , 4 Barrel Edlebrock Carb, 2 year old Center Force Clutch. 8 3/4" Posi Rear with 391 gears. Power Steering ( which is great with the wider 245 tires on there), Rallye Dash with 150 mph Speedo, Tachometer works, fuel, temp, oil pressure and alternator gauges work . The only thing not working is the tic toc clock- ( imagine that ) Power Brakes that stop on a dime-- New Wagner Master Cylinder with front Disc Brakes( all new front Rotors , Calipers, Bearings , Pads ,) Rear Drums( New Rear Shoes and adjuster kits ) Original Style Rallye Rims with beauty rings , 275/60/R15 Rear 245/60/R15 Front, Fender Mounted Turns signals , ALL NEW UPGRADED LIGHTING THROUGHOUT(see list below) Front Bucket seats were tastefully done with original vinyl white seats with black upholstry in the centers with matching rear design , New Headliner last month and carpet is in very good condition. Large Radiator keeps the motor temperature cool and even in the 90-100 degree July-August in the Mid-Atlantic waiting in Ocean City Traffic she has never went above half way on the temp gauge. The White Hockey Stripe 383 down each side to accent the perfect condition White vinyl roof on top. The under carriage has NO RUST - thats right NO RUST ! I have had this car up on the lift for oil changes, inspections, brakes, service and everyone compliments the shape she is in - not perfect but I if you have been shopping for a 'Cuda for very long I am sure you have seen some disasters. She must have spent a lot of time as a west coast car. She stays in my personal garage. I do still drive her a few times a week and it does see weather at some multi-day car shows. There is NO Putty in her at all but there is one spot of surface rust on the right rear quarterpanel deck where the vinyl meets the quarterpanel. I pointed it out with my car keys to give you an idea of the scope/size - not much at all considering the rest of the car is far above average. Bright work is very good throughout and the body is very straight. The car was painted years ago before I bought it and yes Burnished Red was a true early 70's factory mopar color. I would have went for the Brighter Ferrari Red to accent that beautiful white vinyl top but thats just me. She still shines very nicely for the fans. If you just got back from Carlisle and didnt see the 'Cuda you were looking for , thats because she is right here waiting for you and for MUCH less.
