You should know that I served for 8 years as a truck driver and mechanic so you can know that this car has been very well taken care of with all the regular maintenance taking place at the proper intervals, I am a stickler for preventative maintenance in all of my vehicles. I just did a complete tune up on the car just this past week so absolutely nothing will be needed by the winning bidder of this one of a kind, beautiful BMW. Just Tuned Up! Last week's tune up included new oil/oil filter, new high air flow air filter, new cabin filters, new high performance spark plugs. This car runs like the day it came off the show room floor. Car shifts so smoothly, you can barely tell when the gears are changed. Transmission is in great shape. Brand New High Performance Tires Also, as a bonus for the new buyer, I also purchased new tires. No, I did not go cheap on tires. I purchased 4 new Dunlop Sport Maxx Tires which stick like glue while cornering giving ultimate traction when you need it most. As the buyer, you can put that $1,200 into something else but it will not be spent on tires if you win this beauty. Tires have less that 3k miles with 95% tread. V8 Power The amazing power of the 290hp 4.4L V8 has all the passing power you could dream of and it's even economical with my personal best MPG at 23 miles/gallon. The real power of this engine however, is the torque... 324 foot-pounds @ 3,600 RPM to be exact! This is more potent than almost anything. For instance, the 2006 Aston Martin V8 Vantage ($110,000) has only 302 ft-lbs and the 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera S ($79,100) has only 295 foot-pounds. Torque is what accelerates a car, not horsepower. This V8 is in incredible shape with power that doesn't stop until 155mph. Exterior The car's exterior is in great shape and paint is very shiny as I waxed the car every 6 months at minimum and did everything by hand -- no power tools. There are only a few nicks in the rear bumper but nothing that is noticeable unless pointed out. Car wheels are original M5 wheels and in good condition with a few nicks here and there but nothing outside the normal wear of a 2003 model. The tint on the windows is the darkest that NC law would allow which is 30% but gives the car a great look as can be seen in the pictures. All tint is in great shape. Interior As far as the interior goes, the black leather is in immaculate shape with no rips or tears. All seat belts are fully functional. All power accessories operate as they should to include power windows, sun roof, power mirrors, power tilt steering, power locks, power seat recliner, power seat height adjust, power head rest, all 3 seat/side view mirrors memory options work perfectly fine. This BMW features DSC or Dynamic Stability Control, which allows the driver at the push of a button, to turn on or off the traction control depending if you want to play or take off like a rocket -- the choice is yours. Air conditioning is ice cold and heat works great as well. The radio display has a few of the pixels out but nothing too major that prevents reading the display.
