1999 Mercury - 146,000 mi. Engine runs very smooth and cruises with no strange noises coming from anywhere in the car. The car can be driven but the shifting is not right. Error code reader at auto zone says wheel speed sensor is defective. Transmission takes off firm and shifts through the gears but it changes gears for no reason. So I'm thinking the transmission is bad but IDK. I don't have the money to fix anything or even have anyone diagnose it. So....maybe you should bid thinking it needs a transmission. It can be driven though. On Oct-12-12 at 19:21:28 PDT, seller added the following information: Correction on the name of the sensor . It's called a transmission speed sensor . And there is no check engine light on. It's just in the on board computer . I said it can be driven and it can but I wouldn't try to go too far . A/C does work . On Oct-13-12 at 21:00:54 PDT, seller added the following information: I'm sorry about the confusion on the NO RESERVE title . It started as a no reserve auction but I lowered the start price with a reserve and I wasn't able to change the title perhaps because some one bid on it straight away. In any case I think it's only fair to let you know the reserve is $ 750 . I hope this helps .
