1970 Lincoln project car, this is listing number three, first two were hit by a scam artist which ruined both auctions, third was bid on by someone who backed out after aggressively bidding on car , then after won reneged on auction citing health reasons I found hard to believe he didn't know that would stop him from purchasing vehicle and being able to restore it. I had no choice but to retract bid and the consequent loss of money and time. Anyway. EBay in its brilliance won't allow you to re-list ( even though they ask if you want to , then tell you you can't as a result of a second chance bid) . Car was my son's high school senior year car , then he used it to travel to a local college. we were hoping to restore and customize the car because it was cool and would have been a great classic car. But lack of time money and son's mechanical abilities caused the project to be delayed and thru economic conditions my not being able. Car runs , it is off the road currently , I start it up every now and then and move it around the property. many new parts were purchased in anticipation of the rebuild , and were installed, it has a new carb, fuel pump, alternator , muffler , and tires. the interior is dry and the trunk that leaked years ago has been repaired and no longer leaks. The car has been stored over the past few years under a car cover and is in perfect condition for a serious restoration. The items that don't work or are sluggish needing some mechanical attention are the A/C, power windows, the automatic air temp system which may be involved with the non operating a/c, . Look at the pictures for the obvious rust areas, and the good condition interior. Car had the radio separated when we purchased it several years ago and is in the trunk, not sure if it works or not. rear door that was damaged was replaced by a replacement and is in good condition other than the lime green color. This is again a PROJECT CAR and priced accordingly. thanks
