This is a Classic 1975 Honda CB550 Four in the original sunrise orange color. This bike was purchased by the second owner in June 1978. The original license plate is still on the bike and the expiration date is 1981. He only put a couple hundred miles on it before he parked it. The bike now has 1,289 actual miles on it. I purchased it, and gave it a good cleaning as it was very dirty from sitting, and did have some surface rust forming on the chrome. The gas tank is very clean inside and the carburators have been cleaned. The front brake fluid has been changed and is now in good working order. I have put about 5 miles on it since I got it running. The chrome cleaned up pretty good, but does have a few minor pits on one of the rims which can be seen in the close-up picture. There are some small specks in the rear fender (looks like fine pepper) but not pits, as the surface is very smooth. One of the mufflers does have a slight scrape on it from rubbing up against something. The face of the speedo and tach do show some fading from the sun. There is some oxidation on the engine cases as can be seen in the close-up pictures also. It comes with the original tool kit stored under the seat. The seat is in very good condition. The gas tank is very nice, but does have a few very minor slight scratches in it. Both side covers are nice and do not have any broken tabs on them. It has the original tires on it which dont have very many crack in the rubber at all, however it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to replace them since they are over 37 years old. Overall I would rate this bike as an 8 out 10.
