Selling this 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. You won't find a better deal on this kind of sports car. It was a commuter car getting 27 miles to the gallon. All highway miles the engine has been replaced at just under 235,000 miles. The replacement engine has 70,000 miles on it and can be verified by Auto Shop it was purchased at. ( Receipt was misplaced -see driver side headliner for reference/action). This car can get up and go. The catalytic convertors have been replaced , new adjustable struts front and back, custom rims, brand new 17 inch Z rated tires. Moon roof, electric door locks and windows, black leather interior in perfect condition, fog lamps, new modified headlights and tail lights, new battery, 4 c.d. a.m. f.m, cassette player with power amp.Have another brand new set of rear struts that will go with sell ( in case you don't like the ride of the ones installed.) Air conditioning works was refurbished 2 yrs ago (needs re-charge) radiator also refurbished. New clutch, K&N Air Filter. Have modified after market front end installed without paint. Kissed a parking border block at a fast food. A little fiberglass bondo and bumper is good as new . A minor oil drip is coming from somewhere on manifold , do not have time to fix. Cruise control has been disconnected. This was a non smoker vehicle- replaced girlfriend after finding 3 small cigarette burns on driver side headliner (back ref. lost engine receipt). The paint is also in great condition with only a minor amount of visible wear - a couple small scratches one little ding (again Ex G.F. related). Original gas cap cover and stick shift have been re- installed. I am the original owner ..this car brand new cost $ 27,000. I have a new vehicle and an 86 Chevy Blazer I'm restoring and am letting this Eclipse go for a fraction of what I've put back in it. A minimal amount of time and money will finish this restoration so if you have the time and means this will be an excellent investment. I could make more money parting it out but I prefer to sell it "as is "to someone who can finish it and drive what's been a really cool, dependable vehicle.The registration is due in Nov., if Ca. bought l'll renew and have current smog done . Otherwise veh. is being sold as is and registered "non op". Shipping will be at buyers choice and cost. Highest bidder will get a sharp car all the way around.
