The Best Deals on Classic Wheels! This 1958 MGA is a nicely preserved example of one of Britains finest roadsters. It delivers all of the classic roadster experience at a reasonable price, and its a fine investment car well worth restoring in the future. MGAs are getting harder and harder to find in decent shape, and this one doesnt need any major work. The original 1600cc four-cylinder engine starts and runs well with the dual SU side draft carburetors. The four-speed manual transmission feels tight and shifts smoothly, and the clutch grabs well. As always, this MG will need tinkering to keep it running happily, but as these cars go, its in good mechanical shape. The body is straight, and while it may have had some light bodywork when the previous restoration was done, it was clearly professional work. In order to be a show car again, this roadster will need paint, but its driver-quality and very presentable. Underneath, its held up quite well. Apart from the battery tray, which has some corrosion, there is only minor body issues, please see the pictures. The seats and door panels are in good shape. The convertible top is in good shape, but has one small tear on the passenger side. All of the windows in the top are intact. The dashboard is in very good condition and the gauges are all functioning properly. With very few of these cars left on the road, this A gets a lot of attention, and always stands out in the crowd of MGBs and TR6s. Theyre getting harder to find and only increasing in value.
