Frame off, totally restored 1978 FJ45 long bed with cold AC and PS This FJ45 was good to begin with and now after a yearlong restoration, is like new. 53,792 miles on the body. 500 miles on a rebuild F2 motor. New nuts and bolts throughout this FJ45. New door seals all around. All pieces where taken down to metal, primed and painted with rustic green, Powder coated frame and running gear. Original rims with correct stock color. New BDS Shocks and Steering Stabilizer, new shackles. New exhaust system. New 33x10.5 16 BFG Mud Terrain Tires All fenders where shot with a black rust inhibitor/protector. New front bumper with New Warn Winch. New, completely rebuilt 2F engine with less than 500 miles on it. Complete valve job, re- ring, hone and new rod bearings. Runs perfectly. New hoses, belts, radiator, battery, terminals, horn. The list goes on and on. New clutch assembly transmission shifts flawlessly. New brake system As mentioned, this FJ has Power Steering and works like new. New upholstery gray vinyl from cool cruisers 2” leaf spring lift and 2” shackle lift for a total 4” lift original visors Original AM/FM radio and speaker original front matt If you are looking for an original FJ45 with a few nice, tasteful upgrades, this is the one. I agree that the 78 is a tough vehicle it even has the original 2 piece cargo wheels, if you have any questions feel free to come inspect the vehicle or send a professional inspector.
