Older Driver 912 that has been sitting for the last 4 + Years. The car was driven til the fall of 2009 When the car was placed in Storage. Prior to storage it had a NEW gas tank, NEW Webers, and New Brakes installed in May of 2007, total cost of bill was $4250.14 Today I took it out for a drive and the 5 speed gearbox shifts fine through all gears, car stops straight, and engine seems fine. Carbs could use small adjustment. This is a RUNNG and DRIVING car ! There is a HUGE stack of paperwork that dates back to 1970, and alot of Old Registrations that date the car from 1968 in Washington State. One of first receipts on the car was in '71 when it was serviced at the then " Aker's Volkswagen Specialists " The car was in WA. till 1989 The car has had a few floor patchs over the years and a new suspension pan was installed in 1990. The car was painted around the early 2000's and it is starting to show it's wear. Some bubbles in a few areas all the way around the car. The car was always Irish Green, current paint job is a hair off though. Engine was said to have been rebuilt in 2002 but I have no records of it Original Blaupunkt in dash,along with Newer style CD mounted directly underneath it with no extra holes in dash. Seats are later style with headrests . Some rust holes in front panel where Vin/Chassis plate and hood latch is . Odometer and trip are not working,as well as clock, horns need attention,could be hornbrush. Front hood shocks do not hold hood up. I believe I am the 3rd owner. Current California Registration and Title in my name . PLEASE DO NOT BID unless you truly want to own the car.
