Vehicle Detail

This is a listing for a "matching numbers" 1969 Coronet R/T. I bought the car about 8 years ago on e-bay and since then I have sold 2 houses and do not have a shop to restore the vehicle................check the vin #.1 of 3300 made the reason I posted it on the Charger page is that it is basically the same car.......I was sure ther would be more people searching under the "Charger" listing.I have checked this car from bumper to bumper, it is truley a "numbers matching" vehicle from the VIN on the dash to the radiator support, auto transmission, rear end, all the numbers match. The car is yellow with the black interior, It has bucket seats and and automatic shifter on the column. The car had typical Mopar rust, rusty underneath, the drivers and passenger floor pans are thin as is the trunk pan.the main structure of the car is sound, can be a dailey driver. The car cranks, runs and drives just fine, I believe the rear gear is a 323?. It has been in the barn for the last 5 years, just pulleed it out cranked it. The car has few issues. There is pin hole in the fuel line..........hard to crank after it sits for a few days, there is a line of rust under the vinyl top and arounfd the trunk and under the rear window ( all mopar stuff) nothing unusual......I bought the car to do a full restoration on it because it is All ther, the glass is perfect, all the trim and the little doodads.it is complete, it even has the origianl radio in the trunk. There was a light restoration done in the late 80's on this car, they hung 2 new quarters and repainted the vehicle, The fender taggs are removed, the cars were not worht a whole lot at this time and I tried to retrive them from the bodyshop but they never responded. The numbers match the whole vehicle, and the numbers match the Chrysler registry, so it is a real Coronet R/T/..call me with any questions you have 850-255-3766On Sep-27-12 at 12:47:06 PDT, seller added the following information: I have also replaced the gas tank.........The car has the standard dash package with a 150 mph speedometer......the milage is approx, I do not know if the milage is a one roll over or 2 or 3, there is no way to tell, I had to replace the distributor because it has electronic deal in it and the motor is very clean....I do not know if the motor has ever been into.......car runs well but there is a exhaust doughnut leak .the belts and hoses are all the same ones that was on the car, they squeel when reved up, I had the exhaust system replaced when I got the car (about 8 years ago). When I used drive it alot, this car would scream, I had a 67 gto with a 400, 4 bbl, 4 speed and this would blow its doors off......1/4 and top end, very strong (I guess all mopars were this way) Call me or e-mail with additional questions, call or e-mail me and make an appointment to view the car and drive it so you can see exactly what you are bidding on, If I get a chance this weekend I will wash and clean it up (inside and out) and I will take some more pics On Sep-29-12 at 15:16:08 PDT, seller added the following information: VERIFIED!! VERIFIED!!! VERIFIED!!! OK , I pulled the car out today, washed the inside and outside, it cleans up pretty well. The car has a leaking rear wheel cylinder, as there was no brakes, I filled the rear brake master cylinder with fluid and it pumped up well. The rear brakes were dragging, I drove down the road and back and it freed up some, the car needs full maintenance (oil and filter change) tranny changed, belts, hoses, coolant flush, turne-up, etc..........Look at the new pics..........It is a good 20 footer....The car is a VERIFIED NUMBERS MATCHING MOTOR (see pics) I looked for half a day for the numbers on the motor and they are the same as the VIN. I thought that just the serial number would be on the motor, but it has the WHOLE VIN on the motor......... WS23L that is a 1969 Coronet R/T the pics do not do the numbers justice, you can read the WS23L and pick out the 54 as they are hard to read, you can see it clearly with your eyes. The car will run so it can be loaded on a trailer with no problems.you cannot drive this car home
