Vehicle Detail
Picked up this Dart a year ago, got the engine running, did a little work in the engine bay, and it's pretty much sat since then. As you can see from the pictures, the car is pretty solid. It does have it's dings and dents, but not much rust to contend with. realistically this is the best candidate for a garage paint job race car i've seen for a while for someone with some body skills. Engine bay has been painted black and inner fenders are in nice shape. Floor boards are very solid. Have very nice black door panels. Gorgeous black headliner, nice black seat belts. Already installed is a complete 440 and 727 transmission (engine has run in last 6 months).A body 8 3/4 with 3.73 and a sure grip. Already installed are under body, large tube, full length headers, Which are ceramic coated.440 engine, complete minus carb. 727 big block trans with (B&M?) converter extra disc brake setup with upper and lower arms, upper and lower spindles, calipers(would need replaced or rebuild). and caliper brackets. also have large bolt pattern rear drums to make this a big bolt pattern car after you completed the disc swap. also has usable driveshaftradiator and fan shroudfront buckets with working sliders. have all glass minus windshield.aluminum slot wheels in nice shape.Has good manual steering box in body the engine/trans combo, rear end, and headers, would all bring $1000 a piece, adding up to 3,000. This is a great project car for someone with some time and/or looking for a great drag car project. The only minor thing is i don't have a signable title since this was sold as a racecar project. However I've already contacted several title agencies and you can easily attain one. It's a simple process and they do all the footwork. Or just build yourself a race car. I do have an old Michigan title that was never signed to me you're welcome to have, but i'd go with the title service unless you're in a state that doesn't require a title for cars older than 1974, which many don't. some states require only a bill of sale for a vehicle 15, or 25 years old. I require a $500 non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end. The rest on pickup is fine. You will need to come pick up this dart, or I may deliver within 30 miles of 44260 for an additional charge and cash in hand first.the car needs picked up within one week of auction end. You are aware you're bidding on a car that will need trailered, please make arrangements prior to winning. I reserve the right to end auction early if sold locally, as the car is advertised in several places. I will be happy to take more pictures upon request, and you can make arrangements with me to check out the car in person if you like. I'll be as helpful and honest as i can so everything works out and you know what you're getting. Lastly, DO NOT bid on this car if you do not want it, or have no intention of going through with the sale. I have "sold" this car twice on here already and ebay lets these shady users, who just end all contact and go into hiding, walk away unscathed. Please ask any questions before bidding, and please only bid if interested. thank you everyone. HAPPY BIDDING!On Sep-28-12 at 14:42:03 PDT, seller added the following information: Here's a video of the engine running, just so you know it will run. As stated above there's not a carb currently on it but wanted everyone to be sure this is a good motor that is usable in this project.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph_oMEDlhJo&feature=plcp
